Go for more expensive model

I wanted to try a bidet and bought the least expensive because I was not sure if I would like using one. I would recommend getting one with more features, the cold water spray at this time (summer) is ok but I definitely would want warm water during the winter. Also having the dryer would be preferential.
So in conclusion, I would not purchase this model again but would go for one with all the bells and whistles.

Great product, worth every cent

The Kohler manual bidet seat gets five stars from me. It was very easy to install; took about twenty minutes once everything was unpacked. Most of all, it works fantastic. I bought it for my wife for her birthday (I know, husband of the year lol) and she loves it. It's a clean, refreshing feeling, and far more hygienic than paper. No worries about not having all the do dads like heated water or a fan. If you like those things then great but I didn't want to wire another outlet behind the toilet and both my wife and I prefer the cool water directly from the supply. I wouldn't have guessed it but this was one of the better gifts for my spouse

This was our first bidet seat and we have not been disappointed. I’m glad we didn’t get all the bells and whistles, lights, buttons, features, etc. because the seat is much better looking because of it’s simple elegance. The cold water doesn’t feel very cold (it has time to warm up in the pipes in the walls before using) and if anything, it feels refreshing. As far as the drying feature that we didn’t op for, the family just uses a bathroom heater on the floor for drying if desired. I think it’s...

I think it’s only a matter of time before bidet seats come standard with toilets because they are fantastic. We use 1/4th the toilet paper we used to… and family members say they like it so much, they try to wait until they get home to use the bathroom!

The seat is very comfortable to sit on. Many bidet seats give me pain in the base of my spine. I weigh 110 lbs., but do have spine and back problems. The regular spray works fine and very easy to operate, as long as one is right handed. Beautiful clean design. Easy to install. Wish it had blower.

Easy Install - Tight Water Connections

Bought this a month ago.... the Pandemic and lack of TP in stores might have nudged the purchase, but this seat is well made, has tight water connections, and is very easy to install. One thing that concerned me was having several connections and another water source for potential leakage, but the connections on this seat are well made and should be no issue. Considering installing a GFI outlet in the Master Bath, and getting a model with warm water and drying features.... would move this one to a different bathroom.

Have had this toilet bidet seat for about a week. Can't figure out how I did without this!!! Not fancy like the electric models, but really haven't found a need for them. Have had this toilet bidet seat for about a week. Can't figure out how I did without this!!! Not fancy like the electric models, but really haven't found a need for them. The heated water would be nice but our "cool" water in Vegas is no problem. Also a fan would be fine, but if used correctly, a minimum of toilet paper is only needed for drying. The operation of the unit is rather simple - takes a few minutes to learn - only two actions - turn the handle to turn water on, press handle down to change the position. To get the best result takes a day or so - by leaning forward a little helps direct the spray for the perfect result.
Installation required two special adjustments. The front edge of the mounting plate MUST be at least 2 1/2 inches from the toilet - otherwise the seat will not lock into place. Interestingly I had that problem even though this is a Kohler seat and I have a Kohler one-piece toilet. SOLUTION - The holes in the toilet for the mounting plate are rather large. I did not use the plastic nuts that keep the bolt in the center of the hole. I used flat metal washers with wingnuts and was able to keep the shaft of the bolts up against the front edge of the holes. This gave me an additional 1/4 inch which was enough for me to lock the seat in place. Second issue - the diagram shows the hose with the right angle adapter attached to the seat. This proved difficult to fasten correctly without undue pressure on the wash lever. SOLUTION - just reversed the hose so the straight end connected easily without any pressure on the wash lever. Just be careful that the rubber washers don't fall out of the hose ends.
