Great bidet

This bidet is fabulous and the self cleaning nozel is fantastic! You push one button and the whole thing comes off for cleaning. I’ll never live without a bidet wherever I live! This is my second one! I love it💜

I do not have a GFI electrical outlet near my toilet, which sits in a little closet with its own exhaust fan off the master bathroom, and I did not want to put an outlet in there. If things like a heated seat, fanny drier, heated water jets, or a remote control panel were features I really wanted, I would have wired in an outlet and bought a fancier seat. But all I wanted was a nice bidet seat to wash my bottom with unheated tap water. This one replaced an older one I had and it does exactly what I need it to do. Installation was straight forward and not too difficult apart from having to wedge myself between the toilet and the wall to reach the water line. It only took about 15 minutes to remove the old seat and install the new one. No leaks and it works great. The seat itself is comfortable too, and I love the soft close action of the lid and seat. No more accidentally dropping it and having it slam it down with a bang. The unit comes with three different spray nozzles depending on your preference and water pressure... they are essentially strong, medium, and soft spray. The "medium" strength one comes installed. I swapped it for the stronger one because at "full throttle" the medium one wasn't spraying hard enough. The nozzle was a little tricky to replace after the seat was installed and I had to be careful not to break it off or drop it into the toilet, but I managed to swap them without breaking or losing anything. The strong spray is actually a bit too strong at maximum throttle but the control is very easy to modulate and I just don't twist the control handle all the way. I like the simple manual control. Pushing down on the handle angles the spray forward, twisting the handle controls the power. There's a slight delay when you initially twist it before the spray hits you. When you shut it off it cleans itself as it retracts. Very nice! After thoroughly washing myself with the sprayer, I use a few squares of paper to wipe the area mostly dry (habit, I guess) then use a towel to make sure I'm completely dry after that. I feel very clean and haven't had problems with itching as I used to before I got into the bidet-wash habit. Now I'm spoiled and really don't like using public restrooms or hotel room toilets without a butt-washing option! In summary: Highly recommended for those who don't need lights, heaters, or fanny driers on their toilets. Simple to install, easy to use, good quality, no electricity required. Five stars.

[Incentivized Review] Affordable Compliment to Your Bathroom Experience

We have come to love this elongated Puretide Non-Electric Bidet Seat. It took a little getting use to, and makes for interesting conversation when friends see it. But if you want to feel clean and fresh after taking care of business, this is the ticket! Very easy to install without any major effort. We have come to love this elongated Puretide Non-Electric Bidet Seat. It took a little getting use to, and makes for interesting conversation when friends see it. But if you want to feel clean and fresh after taking care of business, this is the ticket! Very easy to install without any major effort. Instructions are easy to follow and the whole project from start to finish takes less than 30 minutes. Well made of strong and sturdy plastic. The water bidet is manually operated with a handle and allows you to set the spray pattern and pressure. The wand is self cleaning and rinses after use automatically which helps keep it clean between regular sanitary cleaning. The grip tight bumpers help the seat stay in place and not slide on the bowl. Another nice feature is the quiet close lid that closes slowly without slamming closed. I recommend this and will be getting more for other toilets in our home.

I have always had an after market bidet on my toilets. While they work, the mounting devices are very difficult to keep clean. This product was recommended to me by a plumber who was helping me restore one of my bathrooms as a replacement for the existing bidet. The main purpose for the upgrade was to accommodate a recovering stroke patient's ability maintain personal needs. This unit has a sleek, modern deign and is completely self contained even to the point that the water spout reverses back into the seat after use so it couldn't be any easier to keep clean and safe. It looks great ...blends in as part of any toilet seat and the operation is a simple lever conveniently located, I am going to install one of these in my other bathroom as well. Simple to install myself and one of the main reasons we were able to handle Home Health Care for the "patient". Highly recommend for all households. While it isn't inexpensive, it's a Kohler product (one of my favorites) and it's worth every penny.

Worked great for two years

After two years the wand stoped going in and out as it is supposed to. At the time of purchase directly from the kohl’s website they were charging full retail of $165. The parts that failed are not replaceable and the warranty only lasts one year. Meanwhile, the $20 bidet I purchased from a massive online book seller is a year older than this one and working just as well as the day it was purchased. This is a great bidet, the seat is comfortable, the quiet close lid is fantastic. It only lasts a little over two years on soft water. I would recommend buying something that has a better warranty/parts support.

I like the fact that the seat can be easily pulled out versus unscrewing an assembly. The spray mechanism is good, but because the water is very hard in my area, it needs frequent cleaning to avoid build-up. I'm not sure what the self-cleaning feature is - I have to clean manually with a small brush and non-corrisive cleaners. A few more details from Kohler will help. Two years later the bidet is leaking internally and through the seat on to my floor - made a big mess. The warranty is one year, so I guess that is the expected time the product will last? Add-on bidets purchased at one-third or less this price have no such problem for five years. Fortunately, I saved the seat that came with the toilet.

Don’t last long

After 4 years of little used this Bidet toilet seat failed to work correctly. I cleaned out the filter and line but the sliding sprayer head nozzle now no longer recess. Very disappointed!!

Easy to install and so easy to use. The nice thing about this product is that the shower head normally plugged in, it comes out one when the water runs this way it stays clean.
