The wand controls the water stream and you can choose between the settings for your butt or for female hygiene. I've used the push button kind and the turning wand kind and they are all user friendly. This one works very well and it does a very good job at cleaning. This product is definitely value for money!! It's easy to use, you just turn the little knobs based on which direction you want the water to go. It turns on and off easily and increasing the water force is just turning the knob & the increase in the force of the water is shown by the dots on the bidet. Assemble was done by my boyfriend & he days it was easy to assemble.
