The installation was straightforward and only took about 15 minutes, even for someone who isn’t particularly handy. My wife was very excited to have the heated seat for those cold mornings and it worked great. Upon initial installation I noticed the seat was about an inch too short for our new toilet. The installation was almost as simple as installing a standard toilet seat. All the built in options were great and the installation of the water supply and the power supply were not unsightly. My wife was very excited to have the heated seat for those cold mornings and it worked great. Upon initial installation I noticed the seat was about an inch too short for our new toilet. The installation was almost as simple as installing a standard toilet seat. All the built in options were great and the installation of the water supply and the power supply were not unsightly. Ease of cleaning is also a plus as the water delivery use is optional. The only thing I would change is the addition of length to the power cord. Most homes are not built with an electrical outlet close enough to accommodate the power cord. As for the ease of installation, its a literal 20 minutes. Anyone that can use a screwdriver and knows what teflon tape is for can install this seat.  Read Less

I already had an American Standard toilet so when I saw they made a seat specific to their product I decided to try it instead of Bio Bidet. Although it took a month to arrive (Corona set production back), it finally arrived and I looked at a you tube video for installation tips. I'm a 70 year old lady who lives alone and didn't want to pay a plumber. Lucky for me, I didn't need to. Instructions along with the video proved to be all I needed. Although it took a month to arrive (Corona set production back), it finally arrived and I looked at a you tube video for installation tips. I'm a 70 year old lady who lives alone and didn't want to pay a plumber. Lucky for me, I didn't need to. Instructions along with the video proved to be all I needed. Everything hooked up, with no leaks and the plate lined up well and I am proud of myself for the accomplishment. The only thing that I didn't know was that the plug is on the right side if you're facing the toilet and my outlet is on the left side, so I'll have another outlet installed. meanwhile I had to carry it over the back of the toilet to plug it in. I love the night light, the warm water and the various water pressure controls. I think I'm going to enjoy it so much that I won't ever be without one. Love it!  Read Less

A little unsure, but found it useful for cleansing. The added features of the night light, and heated seat (with dual settings) definitely enhances the value. Also, the fact that the wand rinses itself allays any fears that debris may build up over time. Installation was pretty straight forward, despite having to install an outlet. A 'wish' would have been for a seat with a dryer since wiping after washing is a bit damp from just a drip dry. This might be something to consider highlighting so there is no confusion in which model to purchase. Never used a bidet before and wanted to try one so I got this one because the price was good. This was very easy to install on my toilet. So easy in fact that I was able to do it with only 1 arm, as I am recovering from an injury and therefore unable to use one arm. The instructions aren't very good, but it's pretty straight forward if you know a thing or two about DIY and basic home upkeep. The T junction fit perfectly on the existing connection to the toilet tank with no issues. I used the included thread tape (nice touch to include a little bit of this!) on the hose going from the T junction to the bidet unit to help ensure there would be no leaks. I didn't even use a wrench to install this, just my 1 hand, and there are no leaks anywhere after several test uses. This bidet works quite well and the stream gets very strong on the maximum setting. Too strong, even. It will splash water up everywhere behind me if I set it too high. My only real gripe with this after my initial impression is it would be great if the connection on the bidet unit was metal. It's a plastic connection with plastic teeth. The hose connecting to it is metal, so there's a potential to damage the unit if you were to attempt to tighten this connection too much. Read Less

I installed this in our master bathroom and we have used it for about a month now. Since my wife often uses flushable wipes, I got this in hopes of eliminating (or at least significantly decreasing) such usage since they can cause plumbing issues (i.e. clogs!). This was super easy to install...took less than 20 minutes. It comes with a cord that when plugged in heats the seat and the water, but you can also use it without plugging it in which is what we've been doing since we don't necessarily care about a heated seat and/or water. It has two directions of spray (a slightly forward direction and a rear [no pun intended!] direction). You simply use the dial/switch on the side to turn on the spray (move it forward for the front area and move it backward for the rear). It also has two flow settings (min, max) for each direction...so you can choose to spray a little or a lot depending on the situation. We absolutely LOVE this product!!! I wasn't sure how much I would actually use it when I got it but I think I use it more than my wife at this point! Lol It's just so easy and convenient to use. It's also self cleaning btw so now worries there, and the lids are self closing so no more accidentally "dropping" the toilet seat! I would definitely encourage people to check this product out. It's high quality and works flawlessly...and it will definitely eliminate or at least save on the use of flushable wipes!!! :) Totally worth it.
