The seat was incredibly easy to install, I replaced the old one in about 30 minutes. The seat was incredibly easy to install, I replaced the old one in about 30 minutes. All of the required hardware is included, all you need is a screwdriver and (maybe) an adjustable wrench (don’t overtighten). It is important to note that you do need to have an electrical outlet nearby. I installed a new one a few weeks ago knowing that I was getting this. The seat itself is comfortable, but you do lose some sitting room and the opening is smaller compared to the regular toilet seat it replaced, because the back part of the seat that houses the electronics and such take up some of the space. It is also simple to use, there are two buttons on left that toggle through low, medium and off settings for the heated seat temperature and water temperature. The dial on the right controls the water flow and ‘aim’ (forwards for front, back for rear and center for ‘off’). The flow isn’t overpowering, but enough to get you clean, and the water warms almost instantly. The sprayer itself is contained when not it use and has a self cleaning system, while the exterior doesn’t appear to be any more difficult to clean than any other seat. It also has a light that automatically illuminates for nighttime visits. My only complaint would be that the cord could be a little longer. I was able to reach mine on the opposite side, but an extra foot or two would’ve been nice so I could tuck it away better. In summary, it may seem a little expensive at first, but when you consider what you pay for a night or two at a fancy hotel compared to something like this that will last you for years of use, I think it is totally worth it. It will also save you money on toilet paper (although you’ll still need some to dry off) and have less impact on your pipes and the environment. It will get you cleaner and the seat heater and warm water are an added comfort. Go ahead and get one…your posterior will thank you later.  Read Less

When I received the package in the mail I was a little intimidated due to the size of the box. Once I opened it up and looked at the instructions my anxiety calmed right down. To install the bidet was very easy. The instructions were step by step and very clear to follow. All of the necessary pieces were included. I highly recommend this bidet to anyone that has little ones or that make night visits to the restroom, it has a wonderful nightlight. The lid does not slam shut, it slowly closes on it own. If you are an individual that might be on the shorter side as I am, the height is shorter in the front so your legs will not fall asleep while sitting on this bidet, like others that I have tried in the past. Although it took a month to arrive (Corona set production back), it finally arrived and I looked at a you tube video for installation tips. Although it took a month to arrive (Corona set production back), it finally arrived and I looked at a you tube video for installation tips. I'm a 70 year old lady who lives alone and didn't want to pay a plumber. Lucky for me, I didn't need to. Instructions along with the video proved to be all I needed. Everything hooked up, with no leaks and the plate lined up well and I am proud of myself for the accomplishment. The only thing that I didn't know was that the plug is on the right side if you're facing the toilet and my outlet is on the left side, so I'll have another outlet installed. meanwhile I had to carry it over the back of the toilet to plug it in. I love the night light, the warm water and the various water pressure controls. I think I'm going to enjoy it so much that I won't ever be without one. Love it!  Read Less
