The overall functionality of it is nice as well. It has a sensor that senses body weight, so it won't go off by itself without anything on it. It also includes a little built in fan to circulate the air (however it is noticeable). There is a light feature which is nice for at bedtime and to use as needed. The water jet is adjustable in both position and temperature, which is nice. Additionally, it is a self-cleaning bidet...so that will give you peace of mind. Overall, definitely recommend.

I was totally against buying this product because I never heard about the name of this brand VOVO, but went along with it now I don't ever want to be without one! . This bidet is the best item I have ever experienced. It replaced my electronic toilet seat. The seat heater is really nice touch for cold mornings. Installation of the bidet itself was extremely easy. It only takes less than 10mins. Water pressure is adjustable and works great. The deodorizer was something I didn't know I even needed, now I will never be without it. This one seems more comfortable, functional and durable than other brands. . I love everyting about this item and you will too.

This is a great upgrade to any bathroom and very good value for money for the features that are included compared to the other alternative bidet seats. It is easy to install and comfortable to use. After seeing a bidet seat at a friend’s home, my wife was keen to get one for our bathroom as she liked the heated seat function. When we remodeled our bathroom, I added a GFCI outlet near the toilet so we could make the update at some point. We picked this VOVO bidet seat for a few of reasons (1) it has most of the features you find on a ‘brand’ name bidet seat which can cost 2-4 times as much (2) it has a portable, easy to clean remote control instead of the control panel that permanently sits beside the toilet seat and gets covered with who knows what before you press the buttons with your fingers! and (3) I have traveled many times to Korea with my job and saw the VOVO brand seats in a few hotel rooms there. Operation is very simple using the remote control. The following controls are available: Seat temperature 97/100/104 degrees Fahrenheit Water temperature 97/100/104 F Air drying temperature 97/100/104 F The water pressure has 5 positions as does the location of the water jet nozzle. There are a couple of preset functions intended to suit both male and female users. A sensor that is built into the seat will activate the seat heater and also the deodorizing fan as soon as you sit down. When not in use, the seat goes into energy saving mode after an hour, switching the seat heater off and keeping the water at 86 degrees F. The seat sensor also ensures that the water jet won’t work without someone parked on the seat to make sure the bathroom doesn’t get sprayed with water if the kids decide to play with the remote! One of the cool features is a built in LED night light that helps avoid any close encounters of the thurd kind and can be controlled with the remote. If you lose the remote of the batteries die, you can still make use of the bidet features using the smaller control panel built into the side of the seat. When you need to clean the seat the nozzle can be extended in a ‘cleaning’ mode. Installation is very simple and everything you need to install it on a conventional or one-piece toilet. Switch off the water valve, undo the water hose from the bottom of the tank and add the chrome ‘T’ piece included in the kit and reconnect the water hose to the bottom of the T. Then remove your old seat, install this one and connect the seat’s water hose to the ‘T’. Next load the included AA batteries into the remote and find a spot to mount the magnetized remote control holder with its self-adhesive pad. Finally switch the water back on and plug in the seat and you’re done inside of 20 minutes total. I did have one issue during installation where the red power light was flashing. I couldn’t find this covered anywhere in the User Manual so I emailed VOVO technical support and they were helpful in correcting the issue. Evidently the power light flashes if the water in the heated water storage tank is low so all that was needed was to unplug the seat from mains power for a few minutes and plug it back in. The bidet seat is made in Korea and comes with two year warranty.

Pleasantly Surprised

I never heard of VOVO before and unfortunately there are no YouTube reviews for it but after checking out the website video/specs I decided to try the top of the line VB4000SE elongated model. I never heard of VOVO before and unfortunately there are no YouTube reviews for it but after checking out the website video/specs I decided to try the top of the line VB4000SE elongated model. My wife and I had been thinking about getting a bidet for quite a while and I looked at some of top brands such as TOTO and Brondell. I watched several video reviews so I knew what features and performance level was offered from the name brands. The bidet was very well packaged and even included batteries for the remote control. The quick install guide was a laminated color sheet with photos. Very nice except for steps 4&5 that were two pictures on top of each other. Those should have been separated for clarity. The manual has install instructions which are good however there were two long metal screws with metal washers and long soft plastic nuts that were not show or mentioned. I assume they’re for mounting to certain types of toilet bowls but strange they weren’t shown. The one thing I don’t like about the lid is that it is not strong enough to sit on. This may not be a big deal to most. Installing the bidet and connecting it up to the water supply was a breeze but make sure you have a large enough wrench to tighten the hoses. As most bathroom don’t have an electrical outlet near the bowl, be prepared to use an extension cord or have an electrician install one. The remote comes with a wall mounted holder but it doesn’t include drywall screws for that. There is double sided tape on the back but if you mount using that, it will wreck the drywall if you need to remove it. There are four control buttons on the water side of the seat for basic functions but you can’t see them when sitting so remember the order if you have to use them. The remote is laid out well and easy to navigate. I read some reviews for name brand models that had remotes that were difficult to use. Can’t imagine that but VOVO’s is straight forward. It seems to work no matter where you hold it so if you don’t want to use the wall mount, no problem. It will be interesting to see how long the batteries last. So the big question is, does it work well. My answer, yes and maybe too well. The heated seat can get real warm for those who want that. Plastic doesn’t get that cold anyway so I just use the low heat setting. The warmth does feel nice though. The nozzle has positional adjustment so you can aim it right where you need it. It has standard wash as well as a rhythm setting for both posterior as well as feminine washing. The rhythm fells likes it going in a circular pattern. The enema function does what it says so be prepared for that. It starts at the minimum setting then slowly increases. You can stop it at any time. The one feature I was really curious about was the heated water. VOVO uses a tank which means that the warm water can run out. I used the high temperature setting and used the water several consecutive times. I read some reviews that said once tank systems run out the water doesn’t go cold but it’s not warm. The water seemed to last about 40 seconds. Each time I used the function the water started out really warm but never went cool so I was please about that. The heated dry is not very powerful so getting completely dry will take a little while even on the highest setting. I’m not sure how auto deodorant function works or how well. More testing needed on that. The seat releases water over the nozzle each time as a cleaning feature. It can also be extended if a more through manual cleaning is necessary. I wish it had a silver ionic coating which is antimicrobial. That would be more effective at killing germs. Last is the LED bowl light. At first I thought it wasn’t needed but it does help when cleaning the bowl. Overall I’m very please with VOVO’s product. Pros: Easy install, works very well, easy to use remote, great looking design, made in Korea (quality). Cons: Lid not strong enough to sit on, lack of antimicrobial nozzle, drying fan could be more powerful, no wall mount screws for the remote ( I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for these features).

This is the Vovo Bidet Seat (model VB-4000SE for elongated Toilets). If you’re considering a bidet seat, note that you should have a separate 20 amp circuit (GFCI) near your toilet (this seat draws 1200 watts). The manual does not make this requirement clear. Photo 1 shows what you get in the box. Note the document on the seat—that’s a lamented quick install guide and user guide. Seeing this was very impressive—it’s not something you find these days packed with products. Because it’s laminated, it’s suitable to keep near the toilet. Another thing to note is that Vovo supplies two sets of installation bolts, one for two-piece toilets and one for one-piece toilets. You don’t really know this unless you actually check the manual—the quick start guide isn’t clear about this. Other than this, the bidet seat installs like the two other bidet seats I’ve installed. Basically, you install a T-valve where the water connection is under the toilet tank (see Photo 2), then fasten the seat mounting bracket to the toilet (see Photo 3), snap the seat in place, connect the water hose between the T-valve and the seat (see Photo 4), check for leaks, and finally, plug it in. The manual is pretty good (not counting the bad English—it’s obvious that a native English-speaking person did not write the manual—I didn’t take any stars off for this though). One exception worth pointing out is under Maintenance. There is a section entitled “Clean the nozzle.” Under that it says, “Only the nozzle will extend out the forward of the nozzle without spraying water.” Well, unless you check elsewhere in the manual or quick-start guide, you wouldn’t know that you first have to press the Nozzle Cleaning button on the remote. This makes the nozzle protrude without spraying water so you can clean it. I found the remote, by the way, very intuitive—the buttons are well marked and easy to figure out. A neat function is the built-in LED night light (see Photo 5). If you’re bathroom doesn’t otherwise have a nightlight, this could come in very handy. When you sit on the seat, there is a faint noise. I found it disconcerting at first because I couldn’t figure out the origin of the noise. Then I remembered reading something in the manual. It turns out that this seat has an auto-deodorant function—this is a fan that removes odors from the bowl. It stays on for several seconds after you get up. There is no way to turn this function off if the noise bothers you. The wash cycles are shorter on this seat than the other seats I have experience with (this one is 60 seconds—other seats I’ve used have 120 second cycles). I judge this seat as less effective at cleaning because of this. However, you can always run the clean cycle twice. I’d rather have a longer clean cycle and turn it off early if I feel I don’t need the longer cycle than to run a shorter cycle twice. I took off one star for this. Otherwise, the seat operated as expected. When you start a function, it sounds like it’s purging some water before actually beginning the cleaning cycle so you don’t get sprayed with cold water. Then, after a few seconds, the function begins. This is good. And if you’re not familiar with bidet seats, you may not realize what the manual means by “rhythm.” This is the pulse function. For example, if you press the Posterior button for a wash, and then press it again, you get what Vovo calls “rhythm”, or what’s otherwise known as a pulsating wash. Overall, the seat seems like it’s made well, and operates smoothly. The remote is especially well designed.

Bought this to replace a Smart Bidet & while it works, it's not as good. It doesn't clean as thoroughly & the heated dry burns @ level 1. Also don't notice the air freshener doing anything. We do like the night light & remote control.

All the basic features you needed

This model have all the basic features of a bidet plus the anti odors and the convenient remote control. The remote control is handy and you can place and stick to a close wal. The anti odors feature really works. The only thing I found that is not working quite well is the adjustment setting doesn't seem to keep it in memory. I often need to re-adjust. Or maybe something I'm not doing right. I didn't read everything in the manual, only the quick installation. Great price for all the features.

So fresh and so clean. Well my new bidet seat arrived and it was more advanced than I expected. I have been using bidet's on other toilets in my house since before COVID and the Toilet Paper hoarding of 2020. To be honest the end result is so much cleaner and without wasting so much paper. (When you get dirt on your arm to you rub it with as much paper towel as you can? no you wash it in the sink and then use the towel. Same should go for your undercarriage). The install was very easy and straight forward. Took me 10 minutes total. The Vovo is a new level, my other bidets are not electric. I really like the automatic fan that turns on when you sit. The cleaning 'motion' the head uses does a good job. Plus having the water heated is a very nice touch. In my mind there are a few negatives; but not many. First was my fault. I assumed all round toilets are the same size - they are not. I have a super small one I guess; which means it doesn't fit perfectly. (Not VOVO fault, but my own). One issue I found with Vovo bidet is the length of the power cable. Its only about 4 feet. Meaning I need to run an extension cord to power the bidet. For the long term I will likely add a new power receptacle that is closer. Minor inconveniences - it takes a little time for the cleaning to start after you push the button on the remote. The remote also appears to be developed in 1989 given its size. Its responsive, its just a small brick. Does the dry button dry me? no not really, just a warm breeze. Really a great bidet.

great value with all the features you needed

It's quite easy to assemble. Instruction is clear and include everything needed. This is a second bidet I bought, compare to the other brand I had, the Vovo water pressure is stronger. The anti odors seems to work very well. The dryer fan, in my opinion is not that useful, probably the location of the fan. The remote is a bit bulky. In a cold winter, the water cannot maintain a consistent temperature. Overall, it a good bidet for it price range. You get all the features you really needed.

This is a very nice bidet toilet seat. We already have two other bidet toilet seats which we really like. We purchased our first bidet toilet seat several years ago. It is a high-end Japanese-made model that has all the bells and whistles, including automatic opening and closing of the seat and lid and even automatic flushing. Our second bidet seat is a much simpler American-made model, which lacks the bells and whistles but performs its basic functions well. This Vovo bidet seat lacks the extras of the Japanese model, but it has more features than the American model. We haven't had this new seat for long, but our first impressions are very favorable. The cleaning function works very well. Using the remote, you can adjust the position of the nozzle (back and forth), you can adjust the water pressure and you can adjust the water temperature. You can also adjust the air temperature of the drying cycle. Even if you do not use the drying cycle, the bidet greatly reduces the amount of toilet paper you will use. There are two other features that we particularly like: (1) the automatic deodorizing feature and (2) the LED night light. Even our high-end Japanese model does not have a night light. The installation would be very easy on a standard toilet, but we have a skirted toilet that greatly complicates the installation. The problem with a skirted toilet is that the water connection under the toilet bowl is not easy to reach and there is very little room to maneuver. My husband was able to attach the t-valve (with the help of a 1-1/8 crowfoot wrench he had to purchase), and he was able to connect the bidet hose to the t-valve, but there simply was not enough space to connect the water supply hose to the t-valve. The water supply hose has a plastic connector designed for hand tightening. Unfortunately this plastic connector is just too big around to fit into the confined space. He solved the problem by purchasing a supply hose with a steel nut connector which was small enough to fit (tightened with a crowfoot wrench). Something the manufacturer could do to make the installation on a skirted toilet much easier would be to supply a t-valve that connects to the water shut-off valve instead of under the tank. Then the installation would be easy for both types of toilet. If you decide to purchase a bidet seat, you might want to purchase separately the kind of t-valve I mention above, which you can find with an online search. This is what my husband would have done if the replacement supply hose he purchased had not worked. The installation difficulty, however, is a common problem, and I have found that even the high-end Japanese manufacturer has not solved it. So I still highly recommend this bidet seat. Just be aware of the problem if you have a skirted toilet.
