I'd been intrigued by bidets for a little;e while. Many people had recommended one. Certainly, if you look through reviews for this model and others, you'll see folks saying a bidet is a game-changer! Perhaps, like me, you're a bit skeptical. So, after a few weeks of use, here are my thoughts!
I was doing a bathroom renovation anyway, so I had a GFCI-protected outlet installed close to the toilet specifically for plugging in a bidet. At that time I hadn't chosen a specific bidet yet, I just knew I wanted one that could heat the water and perhaps dry as well. I highly recommend doing the same, even if you're not renovating the entire room!
I chose this VOVO bidet due to its combination of features, price, and positive reviews. It had everything I was looking for: a heated water jet, some basic sprayer position controls, a remote control, and a dryer. It is also quite sleek and minimalist which I appreciated.
Installation was dead easy. I liked that it came with a positioning template, and two different sets of mounting hardware to suit different types of toilets. The water line installs in-line with the toilet water supply, and of course a single power cord just plugs into a standard outlet. The whole process was complete in less than half an hour.
I'll admit this is the first and only bidet I've ever tried. But I think it works very well! The water stream starts out soon temperature but reaches the pre-set temperature almost immediately. The temperature can be changed from no heat to quite warm. The spray is timed so you just have to press the button once then scoot your butt left or right to make sure the spray hits the "bullseye". Ha! There are controls on the remote to control the forward and back position to accommodate different sized behinds. Once the spray is complete, the nozzle automatically carries out a self-clean.
The dryer is next. This might be my only complaint. While you can vary the temperature of the dryer from "no heat" to "I think I sat on a hot coal", I wasn't able to find a low enough heat setting without turning off the heat entirely. So, I just use the lowest heat setting and kinda lean forward a bit so the heat isn't so concentrated. Maybe I just have a sensitive butt? Typically the dryer does a great job of drying up almost all the water, and so I only have to use two or three squares of toilet paper to dab away any remaining moisture.
I have not tried the feminine wash since I don't have the right parts. But I assume it works just as well as the posterior wash.
I like that the remote is cordless, and that it comes with a universal mounting bracket. It just feels more hygienic, having the controls far away from the action.
Oh! And it's quiet. Surprisingly quiet. I would have no qualms about using the bidet with people in the room next door.
I bought this bidet on sale on Prime day, and I think it was absolutely worth the money. I started out a skeptic, but you can count me as a convert now! It's no stretch to say that I just feel a bit more hygienic now.

This is a great upgrade to any bathroom and very good value for money for the features that are included compared to the other alternative bidet seats. It is easy to install and comfortable to use.

This is a great upgrade to any bathroom and very good value for money for the features that are included compared to the other alternative bidet seats. It is easy to install and comfortable to use.
After seeing a bidet seat at a friend’s home, my wife was keen to get one for our bathroom as she liked the heated seat function. When we remodeled our bathroom, I added a GFCI outlet near the toilet so we could make the update at some point.
We picked this VOVO bidet seat for a few of reasons (1) it has most of the features you find on a ‘brand’ name bidet seat which can cost 2-4 times as much (2) it has a portable, easy to clean remote control instead of the control panel that permanently sits beside the toilet seat and gets covered with who knows what before you press the buttons with your fingers! and (3) I have traveled many times to Korea with my job and saw the VOVO brand seats in a few hotel rooms there.
Operation is very simple using the remote control. The following controls are available:
Seat temperature 97/100/104 degrees Fahrenheit
Water temperature 97/100/104 F
Air drying temperature 97/100/104 F
The water pressure has 5 positions as does the location of the water jet nozzle. There are a couple of preset functions intended to suit both male and female users.
A sensor that is built into the seat will activate the seat heater and also the deodorizing fan as soon as you sit down. When not in use, the seat goes into energy saving mode after an hour, switching the seat heater off and keeping the water at 86 degrees F. The seat sensor also ensures that the water jet won’t work without someone parked on the seat to make sure the bathroom doesn’t get sprayed with water if the kids decide to play with the remote!
One of the cool features is a built in LED night light that helps avoid any close encounters of the thurd kind and can be controlled with the remote.
If you lose the remote of the batteries die, you can still make use of the bidet features using the smaller control panel built into the side of the seat.
When you need to clean the seat the nozzle can be extended in a ‘cleaning’ mode.
Installation is very simple and everything you need to install it on a conventional or one-piece toilet. Switch off the water valve, undo the water hose from the bottom of the tank and add the chrome ‘T’ piece included in the kit and reconnect the water hose to the bottom of the T. Then remove your old seat, install this one and connect the seat’s water hose to the ‘T’. Next load the included AA batteries into the remote and find a spot to mount the magnetized remote control holder with its self-adhesive pad. Finally switch the water back on and plug in the seat and you’re done inside of 20 minutes total.
I did have one issue during installation where the red power light was flashing. I couldn’t find this covered anywhere in the User Manual so I emailed VOVO technical support and they were helpful in correcting the issue. Evidently the power light flashes if the water in the heated water storage tank is low so all that was needed was to unplug the seat from mains power for a few minutes and plug it back in.
The bidet seat is made in Korea and comes with two year warranty.

I never heard of VOVO before and unfortunately there are no YouTube reviews for it but after checking out the website video/specs I decided to try the top of the line VB4000SE elongated model. My wife and I had been thinking about getting a bidet for quite a while and I looked at some of top brands such as TOTO and Brondell. I watched several video reviews so I knew what features and performance level was offered from the name brands.
The bidet was very well packaged and even included batteries for the remote control. The quick install guide was a laminated color sheet with photos. Very nice except for steps 4&5 that were two pictures on top of each other. Those should have been separated for clarity. The manual has install instructions which are good however there were two long metal screws with metal washers and long soft plastic nuts that were not show or mentioned. I assume they’re for mounting to certain types of toilet bowls but strange they weren’t shown. The one thing I don’t like about the lid is that it is not strong enough to sit on. This may not be a big deal to most.
Installing the bidet and connecting it up to the water supply was a breeze but make sure you have a large enough wrench to tighten the hoses. As most bathroom don’t have an electrical outlet near the bowl, be prepared to use an extension cord or have an electrician install one.
The remote comes with a wall mounted holder but it doesn’t include drywall screws for that. There is double sided tape on the back but if you mount using that, it will wreck the drywall if you need to remove it. There are four control buttons on the water side of the seat for basic functions but you can’t see them when sitting so remember the order if you have to use them. The remote is laid out well and easy to navigate. I read some reviews for name brand models that had remotes that were difficult to use. Can’t imagine that but VOVO’s is straight forward. It seems to work no matter where you hold it so if you don’t want to use the wall mount, no problem. It will be interesting to see how long the batteries last.
So the big question is, does it work well. My answer, yes and maybe too well. The heated seat can get real warm for those who want that. Plastic doesn’t get that cold anyway so I just use the low heat setting. The warmth does feel nice though. The nozzle has positional adjustment so you can aim it right where you need it. It has standard wash as well as a rhythm setting for both posterior as well as feminine washing. The rhythm fells likes it going in a circular pattern. The enema function does what it says so be prepared for that. It starts at the minimum setting then slowly increases. You can stop it at any time. The one feature I was really curious about was the heated water. VOVO uses a tank which means that the warm water can run out. I used the high temperature setting and used the water several consecutive times. I read some reviews that said once tank systems run out the water doesn’t go cold but it’s not warm. The water seemed to last about 40 seconds. Each time I used the function the water started out really warm but never went cool so I was please about that. The heated dry is not very powerful so getting completely dry will take a little while even on the highest setting. I’m not sure how auto deodorant function works or how well. More testing needed on that. The seat releases water over the nozzle each time as a cleaning feature. It can also be extended if a more through manual cleaning is necessary. I wish it had a silver ionic coating which is antimicrobial. That would be more effective at killing germs. Last is the LED bowl light. At first I thought it wasn’t needed but it does help when cleaning the bowl. Overall I’m very please with VOVO’s product.
Pros: Easy install, works very well, easy to use remote, great looking design, made in Korea (quality).
Cons: Lid not strong enough to sit on, lack of antimicrobial nozzle, drying fan could be more powerful, no wall mount screws for the remote ( I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for these features).

The VOVO WATERJET Bidet is a great bidet with an easy installation, but it has a fair share of issues.
The instructions are very simple and the whole process to get the bidet installed took me no time what so ever. The hardest and most time consuming part of the install was adding an electrical outlet near the toilet. One thing I'd like to mention that the instructions don't really focus on, is the orientation and position of the mounting bracket. I had to reinstall the mounting bracket 3 times as the first time I installed it upside down and the second time, backwards. When installing the mounting bracket you want the channels to be pointing up, this is where your metal square "washers" will sit, and you want the two openings on the bracket to face the front of the toilet as this is the place where the toilet seat slides into the bracket. I mention this, because this step on the instruction booklet is a very tiny picture. As a side note, the instructions are obviously translated from another language as they read as broken english, not impossible to understand but could use some work.
Feature wise, the bidet is packed with them, I'll try to elaborate on each a bit more.
The posterior wash is the key feature of this bidet, it works great, either by a steady stream or a rhythmic motion. Placement is decent, though I find myself having to sit back further than I normally would as even the furthest setting seems to almost not reach. My wife tried out the Feminine wash and wasn't too pleased with the results, essentially it is not the right angle for a decent clean. She also mentioned that extending the nozzle too far will cause water to spray between her legs and out of the toilet.
The built in dryer is okay, it could use some more power to really speed things along but it gets the job done with a bit of patience.
Seat temperature control is great, had it on by accident and it felt pleasant, can't wait to experience it in the middle of winter. Water temperature comes in at 3 levels, I have kept the bidet at level 1 as anything higher was just too uncomfortably hot. Dry temp honestly made no noticeable difference.
The enema feature was lack luster, I was expecting more pressure and more oomph, however it's feels no different than the posterior wash on the highest water pressure setting.
The LED Light is neat, it lights up your toilet! It's great for those late night bathroom runs for when you don't want to turn all the lights on. However, the light will stay on constantly.(Either always on or always off). I wish there was a light sensor that would only turn the LED Light on when it was actually dark in the room.
The seat features an always on mode, which essentially keeps the seat and water at its set temperature. Or, there's power saving mode which activates the heat when you sit down on the seat, (so it might take a few min for everything to get up to temp). Also when you sit down, it triggers a sensor which starts up the intake fan to help with those gnarly odors.
The biggest issue I have with the seat, is the power draw. Everytime someone uses the seat which activates the heaters, it will cause the lights in the bathroom to flicker, as it's drawing so much power to get the seat and water up to temp.

Installation was fine, but there are too many flaws in the function of this device for me to recommend it, even it was free. I don't write reviews often, but I needed to share this.

The hardware at the back covers the back 25% of the bowl when I lift the seat, and when I lift the seat, it has a 50% chance of closing by itself. It causes all sitting to be forward-angled and the seat is flexible and doesn't feel properly secured even if you really crank on the plastic bolts.
A drying option might seem nice, but in effect, it wafts all the stink directly onto your person as you're sitting. If you've ever passed gas in the shower, you know what that's like.
Finally, on the second time I used this, the controls on the remote were unresponsive and the device had a mind of its own. I sat down and turned on the heated seat. Instead, mid-business the nozzle extended and it sprayed and ran the fan, and sprayed and retracted, and did not listen to my commands to stop on the remote. All this mid-use. I can only describe it as non-consensual. The remote was lit and beeped, and was working the day before - I had to fumble for the side controls so I could be released from it's continued spray. I thought I might be stuck there or have to pull the plug. It made a proper mess and a huge stink.
I would recommend against this one or others like it.
