Very bulky, takes your elongated seat to a small seat. Problematic if you’re a large person or overly blessed. It’s got a slight slope forward. Looks like a handicap seat. Pressure at its highest not strong enough. I have a cheap one and it does a better job cleaning. If that stuff doesn’t bother you then not a bad seat, lots of other nice features. I’m not sure it’s worth the price.

Love it but don't sit on the lid
We love this! Purchased in July 2022, going strong still. But my toddler kept standing on it to reach the sink and it ended up snapping the lid off. Now I have a toilet with no lid which sucks. Do they sell replacement lids?

I have been debating for a while to get one of these. Due to the short panic over the protests at the docks, I finally jumped because I am tired of people panicking over items that are made in the US. Stuff we are not going to run out of and it always ends up being around the time I need to buy toilet paper. Its been about a week since we installed it and we love it. Almost 3 years and still going strong
I bought the BidetMate 1000R (with the remote) back in 2020. It was fairly easy to install (even for people like me who are timid of plumbing) and has worked great. Saves a lot of money on toilet paper and personal wipes. This particular model has a lot of nice features like heated water, heated seat and air dry. And the settings for position/temperature/water force etc. are simple to adjust to your personal preference. When I recently moved to a new home, I took my BidetMate with me. But... I bought the BidetMate 1000R (with the remote) back in 2020. It was fairly easy to install (even for people like me who are timid of plumbing) and has worked great. Saves a lot of money on toilet paper and personal wipes. This particular model has a lot of nice features like heated water, heated seat and air dry. And the settings for position/temperature/water force etc. are simple to adjust to your personal preference. When I recently moved to a new home, I took my BidetMate with me. But unfortunately the water supply line somehow got damaged in the move, and would not form a leak-free seal any more. I contacted the company to ask about a replacement. They covered it under their generous 3-year warranty, and sent me a new one. So I was "back in the saddle" in no time. Bidets are still not so common in the U.S., but once you've used one, you will see why they are so popular in other countries. But I think the U.S. is starting to catch on. TLDR - great product, great company support. 5 stars!

Electrical Hotspot Issue and OK Customer Service
In full transparency I loved my Bidetmate and prior to the electrical wiring malfunction I would have highlighted recommended. Unfortunately, the unit I purchased developed electrical hotspots on the seats (from the awesome heating feature). This was a malfunction and not supposed to happen. I was reached out and requested a remediation, with photo and video evidence. I would have absolutely purchased another one if there was any accountability or concern for the presenting safety issue. However... In full transparency I loved my Bidetmate and prior to the electrical wiring malfunction I would have highlighted recommended. Unfortunately, the unit I purchased developed electrical hotspots on the seats (from the awesome heating feature). This was a malfunction and not supposed to happen. I was reached out and requested a remediation, with photo and video evidence. I would have absolutely purchased another one if there was any accountability or concern for the presenting safety issue. However, after weeks of emailing and documentation they said it was just “dirty,” and I’d have to mail the whole system back for them to professionally clean. 🤣 respectfully I know the difference between an electrical hot spot and dirt, and more importantly I have regular and professional deep cleaning of my entire home… the spot has been there for about a year, and aside from being aesthetically displeasing, the spot actually overheats. Not a pleasant experience. So, unfortunately no more bidetmate for me!

The downsides are, the spray power can’t be turned down enough for a wider more gentle wash as I would like, and since we installed it, the pipes make a godawful, high pitched squeal every time the toilet is flushed. It is a bit too warm on the highest setting, but it can be turned down to a quite comfortable level. The heated water is nice, and also configurable, although you do get a quick splash of cool water at first. I know the bidet is a hit because that has become the preferred bathroom. We do have an outlet behind the toilet, as the bathroom was built with the plan of installing a bidet. Power is a must. The instructions are digital and way too small to read on a phone. A tablet or computer is absolutely necessary. However, the install was quite easy. For the price point, this was a good purchase. (If there was one thing I wish this bidet had, it would be a nightlight.) I would buy another one if we could just get the squealing to stop.
