I bought one for the master bathroom. My wife really wanted it so I bought and installed in 20 minutes. Super easy. But, I did have to have an electrician add a outlet. Then I tried it. OMG. The seat and spray are warm. So nice. I bought another for the downstairs bathroom and had another outlet installed. We wonder how we lived so long without it. Highly recommend.

A MUST have, especially for seniors!
This is a MUST have! Every senior should have one. I'm not sure how we ever lived w/o this wonderful bidet. Heated seat, heated water + a dryer. Fits right on the toilet, hook up is a breeze and we put the remote control right on the vanity in the bathroom. Relatively little noise, very secure and also self-cleaning. Different settings that can be preset for individual use.

This is an electric bidet so you would need an electrical outlet near your toilet to plug it in. Lots of features and like two water sprays, self-cleansing feature after every use. Instant heating for unlimited warm water. Soft night light for use during night time. It's low profile so it doesn't seem bulky or add too much height on your toilet seat. Worth the price.

We have been using water bidets for more than 30 years. Our cold water units have proven to be effective, reliable and practical. Time to upgrade since we also changed our 3 toilets to one-piece units from Toto. The Toto Washlet+ C5 is in a class of its own. The functionality is superb, providing selectable temperature and water flow options, as well as a gentle feminine spray for the ladies. All in all, a 5-star product. But some things should be pointed out, a... We have been using water bidets for more than 30 years. Our cold water units have proven to be effective, reliable and practical. Time to upgrade since we also changed our 3 toilets to one-piece units from Toto. The Toto Washlet+ C5 is in a class of its own. The functionality is superb, providing selectable temperature and water flow options, as well as a gentle feminine spray for the ladies. All in all, a 5-star product. But some things should be pointed out, although are not cause for a lesser rating. 1) the toilet seat being the "chair height" option is fine, but if you add the Washlet unit, which in itself is rather tall, the whole combo may become uncomfortably high for some people. Just take your measurements before buying. 2) The rear washing spray could be one or two steps of more powerful. Again, it will be just fine for most people. 3) The timer option lets you decide on power savings turning off the heating unit(s) for none, 6 or 9 hours. I would have preferred an extra 12 hour option. There's also a auto energy saver that "learns" your schedule and adjusts the timer accordingly. 4) SW3084 is a standard WASHLET+ bidet seat, while SW3084T40 is specifically designed for and only works with TOTO's T40 series WASHLET+ Ready toilets. The 3084T40 allows the water hose and cable to be tucked behind the unit and completely out of site. I wish these two units were more clearly advertised to be able to make the better selection. Since I discovered the difference after installing the 3 units, I decided not to return them for an exchange and kept the original Washlets+. Conclusion: it is still a 5-star product.

My elderly mom was skeptical that this would help her with “down there” care, but she is now a convert. And installation was a breeze. It is not cheap, but I think you get real value with this unit. A few handy items on installation: 1) watch some of the many videos on YouTube before installing. 2) if you have a rigid supply line to your toilet, spend a few bucks and get a new one that flexes. 3) when... A few handy items on installation: 1) watch some of the many videos on YouTube before installing. 2) if you have a rigid supply line to your toilet, spend a few bucks and get a new one that flexes. 3) when you are inserting the Washlet supply line into the T fitting supplied with the unit, you really have to push firmly on that line as you tighten it, or else you will get a small leak. Everything works well on the unit and it is easy to clean and remove. The unit also does not wiggle on the bolts, a fault others have pointed out. I strongly recommend a unit with a remote like this one. Side controls can be hard for those with low vision or in small spaces. The only thing I don’t like is the fact that the supply between the Washlet and toilet sticks out and looks ugly. It it were longer, I think it would be more flexible. It is a bit stiff, and I was afraid bending it would cause a break or leak at one of the ends. And now my husband wants to get one for us!
