I used to have a Korean washlet or bidet (the most high end one), it broke after 5 years of usage with the nozzle not able to come out with water sprayed out. Given with my bad experience with Korean brand bidet, I choose this renowned Japanese brand, Toto. This S300e washlet completely outperform the highest model from Korean brand, in terms of the experience. I hope this Toto washlet can last for at least 10 years for me.

Update June 2024 - Just hit the 7 year anniversary of installing this unit and still runs like the day I installed it...... This is one of the best purchases/investments I've made. In 2017 I had a bad fall down a flight of stairs. I shattered left arm and broke right wrist. I ordered this unit for obvious reasons and it has performed even better than I expected. I thought I was only going to need it for a couple months. Here I am five years later and I feel like I can't live without it. I can't tell you anything about other brands but this thing runs like my Toyotas. It performs as advertised and works as good as it did the day I installed it in the Spring of 2017. Great product and I give it the highest rating possible.

It's great! Before this we had a bidet not Toto and with the controller on the side of the seat. This one is the be all end all. It's fabulous -- options, memory, no smells, warm seat, water temp controls, etc. We had a very difficult time installing and found that when we went to the hardware store many others have had the same issue with the hoses. Well worth the money.

I installed this as the instructions stated but it had a leak between the toilet and the included T fitting. The thin flat washer they provide with the unit (see picture) does not work to provide a good seal. We decided to install this Toto Washlet after reviewing and researching through my friends in Japan. I was not sure if I can install it by myself. To my surprise, it was so easy to install in our small bathroom. It took less than one hour by setting up, plugged in, and connected it to the water faucet. Though we had to hire an electrician to install the GFCI outlet in the bathroom, it was not so difficult or expensive. All the parts came with the unit perfectly fit, and there was no water leak. All of our family members love the Washlet. It works beautifully. We highly recommend this mnodel !!

This is the second purchase of this item. The first one is so loved, I had to add it to the other toilet in the house. The features are amazing. Its become the go to for everyone that comes to visit us in the house.

We went to japan a few years ago and we loved the toilet seats. Heated water, heated seat, heated air dry... luxury! so much fun, such a conversation piece. I've had it about 1 month now and we love it. Really all we wanted was heated water in the front (ladies only) & back (everyone). I purchased the Toto S300e washlet to go with the Toto Ultramax II toilet. I read most of the reviews on Amazon.com before purchasing. I focused on the negative reviews and made my decisions from there. The washlet does what it's supposed to, there are no shortage of options to ensure it does, it's up to the user to select the correct settings using the handheld remote control.
