Calling this a bidet toilet would be an oversimplification, given that it does a lot more than that. Dual nozzles, self-cleaning nozzles, instant warm water, auto open-close seats, seat warmers, automatic flushing, warm air dryer with adjustable temperature, remote control, air-shield deodorizer to reduce odors in the bowl, room freshener for fresh air inside the bathroom, soft night light are some of the excellent features.

After seeing all those toilets in Japan, I knew I wanted a bidet toilet for my home. It was easy to unpack and install. Instructions are easy to follow. However, it does require more work than installing a regular toilet like some drilling, so if you are not comfortable with doing this kind of work, definitely have a plumber install it.
By the way, as clearly stated in the question/answers, spalet is designed to work specifically with the Clean 100 Spalet toilet. So, don't buy only the spalet planning to install it on your regular toilet, and be disappointed. Go ahead get the bowl too, it is really nice looking and stylish. And if the water pressure is decent where you live, you will definitely have more than enough flush power. If you are not sure about your water pressure, get that measured first before investing in this.
American Standard customer service is very responsive. They will help you promptly if you have any issues. Overall, I am very happy with this toilet, and definitely recommend it to people who want to pamper their bottoms.
