Must have

If you can’t afford a bidet toilet, then this is the next best thing. So easy to install and works great. I thought having a cold water spray would be uncomfortable but it’s refreshing. I am very happy with this purchase.

My new best friend!!

So, I have no idea what got me so interested in getting a bidet. My sister had been talking about hers and it sounded really nice. So, I got on Amazon and did a little searching and this gem seemed to shine above the others. It showed up today in the mail (sorry for the Sunday delivery, USPS), and I installed it (along with a new toilet seat to replace my 15-year-old one). Bidet install time was 20-30 minutes simply because I'm weird about doing everything perfectly. If I rushed, an easy 15-20 minute install. Installation was a breeze, and nothing leaks. it looks nice, too. I have to say, it is an incredibly pleasant way to clean up and takes a fraction of the time it takes with regular old toilet paper (and cleaner, too). I read some "cautions" about going above the 3 setting, but I crank mine all the way up to 5 or 6. It's like a hydro-demolition jet that blasts away the unwanted material. I guess maybe it could vary depending on your house pressure. Sooooo refreshing and effective. and the cold water is surprisingly nice. This will definitely be a plus the morning after I have hot wings or chili. I'm actually looking forward to it! I might get wings tomorrow just so I can test it out. Overall, totally worth the money. As I've seen mentioned in other reviews, get some thicker bumpers/spacers for your seat so that you don't break your seat with the added thickness of the bidet mount. They are 100% necessary. Several brands are available on Amazon, so simply search for "bidet toilet seat bumpers" or something similar (I bought the "Amazon's Choice" brand, and they are excellent). I also put the clear tubing in hot water - as mentioned by other reviewers to make installation easier - just before slipping it onto the adapter and the bidet. I also used teflon tape on the toilet inlet and the male part of the bidet adapter tee. No drips/leaks. Perfect!! Get one, you will not regret it.

From gentle spray to full enima

It's hard to write a serious review about this product without at least cracking a joke or 2, but i'll try my best. First, clean your toilet extremely well. It's hard to write a serious review about this product without at least cracking a joke or 2, but i'll try my best. First, clean your toilet extremely well. There's been countless people on the throne and you want to make sure its clean, especially since your hands will be working in the vicinity. The install was super easy and took about 20 mins. I'm pretty sure anyone can tackle this install. I do mean literally anyone. No need to call the plumber and no special tools are required. A philips (star) screwdriver to get your ring seat off and possibly a wrench, pliers or grips to undo your old inlet connection, depending on how long ago your toilet was installed. You can follow the instructions, but the parts and pieces are pretty self explanatory. Everything hooked up, turned the water back on, check for leaks, good to go. ( pun intended ) Few concerns I had included: Will this fit a new space saver, energy efficient bowl? Yes but its super tight! There's a little interference with the nozzle making contact with the back of the bowl, but the water still makes it to the target. Is it going to be a chilly splash being only cold water? I actually don't mind it. It's not ice box water coming out. More like cool, but I guess it depends on how many flushes happened before you sat down. Few recommendations for install include: Buy toilet seat bumpers. There like $4 of Amazon and you can order them with your purchase. No bumpers will leave a 1 to 2 CM gap between your ring seat and the bowl top. Don't risk snapping your seat off for $4. There's no mention of using teflon (plumbers) tape in the instructions nor is any provided. I would recommend you get some. All the connections are plastic. This will help avoid any leaking at the connections!!!!!! With all the connections being plastic, it's easy to strip. Don't over tighten or you will be running down to the hardware store for new ones. Last, I have never turned the spray pressure past 3. Anything past and you start going into enima territory. Reading this review, you may be tempted to try. Don't say you weren't warned should you decide to tempt fate. Conclusions: Pretty happy. Both me and my wife agree our backsides feel a ton cleaner. We got used to the idea on a vacation we had where bidets are a common thing and wonder why there not a standard attachment to toilets in North America. You also use a LOT less toilet paper, so this thing can pay for itself in paper savings. A big win!: Next pandemic hits. While people are fighting for the last package of TP at the store, you're all smiles knowing you're covered. One helpful idea on install is, when you're trying to attach the plastic tubing to the nipples on the tap and bidet, run the hair dryer on full for about 20 sec beforehand on the ends of the tubing. The plastic tubing is a very stiff, rigid plastic and forcing it over the ends when its cold can be a pain. After the hair dryer, they slip on with ease. As the plastic cools, it contracts giving you a better seal. Product recommended. ***Update 2023*** Wow, so many helpful votes! Happy knowing i've helped make so many bottoms, so much cleaner. Where does this product sit after going on to 4 years of use? Great to report its still going strong. No issues and no leaks. Since my original review, I've bought 2 more to outfit the rest of the house. All have installed easy and been trouble free. There so easy to install, even if you rent and move, just take it off and install it at your new location. If you're still not convinced or having trouble understanding why this product just makes sense, let me give you a scenario that will probably resonate with men especially. Let's say you own a shag carpet that you accidentally spill on. What works better cleaning that spill? Blotting and wiping, or blasting it with a pressure washer? I still have to ask the question. Why is this not a standard attachment on ALL North American toilets? A much better clean on its own, but can only imagine the paper savings since buying this product in 2019 when a roll after product purchase, usually lasts us 2 to 3 weeks. Also, a great buy for the cabin that uses a sensitive septic system, that no longer has wads of TP getting flushed. The only drawback to this product that I can't fault the product for. After visiting somewhere for a few days that still only uses TP, my backside is raw. 1 ply ... don't even get me started. It now feels like using 200 grit sandpaper. Anyways, that's it for this review and thanks again for the helpfuls! If I don't report back, its because the product is still going strong.

I am another convert. Feel fresh and hygienic all day!

Short version: I was unsure but they're popular outside the USA, so why not try it. Yup, it's easy, clean, and I'm really happy with it. Edit: had it about two months now, still very pleased, still working perfectly! Long form: Installation was easy; I heated the plastic tubing a little with a heat gun to soften it and it slipped over the hose barbs with no problem. A hair dryer or hot water would be fine too; it would probably be tough...

Long form: Installation was easy; I heated the plastic tubing a little with a heat gun to soften it and it slipped over the hose barbs with no problem. A hair dryer or hot water would be fine too; it would probably be tough without heat softening it though. The bidet fits well under the seat on my toilet. The seat already has "bumpers" under the front and the bidet doesn't interfere with it in the sitting position. The pressure and adjustment is good. There's a minimum point you have to turn it up to for the pop-out sprayer to, well, pop out, but that pressure is low and perfectly comfortable. I find that I turn it up above that threshold for use anyway, so I don't worry about it coming on too forcefully. I have never turned the knob past halfway, getting the right amount of pressure below that. I suspect the high upper range would let the bidet work well even if your house has low water pressure. If you turn it up very high, it may be uncomfortable, but it's not really painful or going to injure you, so just turn it back down. The knob works well and adjusts the pressure accurately. The water is chilly, but it doesn't matter in the relatively short time it'll spray on you. I find I'm finished with the bidet well before the cold would start to bother me. I definitely like the shower-fresh feeling the bidet provides. A little toilet paper to dry things after and you feel very clean and refreshed. At this price it's a great value, and worth trying out if you're curious.

Kind of pain to set up with the bad instructions, but you will thank yourself once you use it!

It's a fact: no one likes wiping their butt. This contraption makes it so you wipe your butt wayyy less than before. No more 12 wipers. Only 1 wipe forevermore. It will change your life. Like investing in Bitcoin, you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner. Relatively simple to install, but not a glamorous task. I used teflon tape on the threads for extra leak protection. One very key thing is to put the clear rubber washer on the bottom of the valve not the top. I had it on the top at first and it just leaked everywhere. I don't think the instructions even show that part. Used it for a week now no problems. The nozzle position is perfect too. And after using this for a bit I'd say a heated bidet is a waste of money. I was worried this would spray too cold of water, but it's not bad at all. Recommended!

Better and easier than expected

So, I don't know what any negative reviews are about, this is a straight forward and easy install, only needed a screwdriver for 3 of my toilets so I can remove the seat cover. The only challenge I had was pushing the clear plastic tube into the nozzle at both ends because it is a bit hard, so I used a hair dryer to warm it up and pushed it, it went right in. Connection is a snap, no leaks ... one of mine leaked after install because I thought I reached the end of it and didn't want to over turn...

Connection is a snap, no leaks ... one of mine leaked after install because I thought I reached the end of it and didn't want to over turn, but it needed an extra quarter turn to seal properly, so this is no product problem. I had my doubts about cold water only initially, and thought it would be freezing because at the tap it is freezing when you open the cold water, but let me tell you, it doesn't feel cold one bit, it is refreshing and does clean well. I love it. My only concern and time will tell is longevity of the product. Also I wish they included two pieces of plastic (same thickness as bidet) with a double sided tape so you can stick them on the undersides of the seat cover to make up for the gap instead of the wobble it now has, but I can make my own thing with rubber or so and stick it. It just would have made it more complete.

Great Bidet purchase

Very nice, very good purchase. I was skeptical at first but as I read the reviews I thought what the heck let me try it. I have a more expensive bidet at my other home and it has all the upgrades warm water, night light, heated seat, adjustable pressure stream. If you see the little white night light I bought at the dollar store I screwed that onto the cabinet and it acts as a perfect night light. I have a more expensive bidet at my other home and it has all the upgrades warm water, night light, heated seat, adjustable pressure stream. If you see the little white night light I bought at the dollar store I screwed that onto the cabinet and it acts as a perfect night light. Also being here in Texas it's hot I really don't need a seat warmer and the water is not cold it's cool, it actually feels very good. You can adjust the pressure at the turn off valve to increase or decrease it to your liking. Installation was very easy, I use teflon tape on all the connections to help prevent leaks. Helpful tip I soaked the clear water hose in very hot water. It made it uncurl very nicely. When I was putting the clear tubing on to the fitting I also soaked the clear tube in hot water for about 3 minutes. Making installation of the tubing on to the little nipple very easy. For the price it is a very good bidet. I tried to show all the connections as close as I could in the pictures. Make sure when you're screwing on the Green diverter (counter clockwise in my case) that you hold the fill valve in the tank So the float doesn't get squished up against the back of the tank and then doesn't shut off the water. The float I have in my toilet needs space so I can pop up and shut off the water. At first it wasn't doing this because I had squished it against the back of the toilet and it wouldn't let the flow pop up so water tank just kept running. Easy correction though, just unsquished it by redoing the connection a little bit. Black is the fill valve with a float that was getting squished but now is away from the wall of the back of the toilet tank so it is floating and shutting off as it should. To the right is a red brick. Yes I use it it saves a lot of money in water usage. it helps take the place of a lot of water in the tank and it flushes just as well.I have newspaper on the floor checking for leaks. I'll leave it there for a couple days, but so far no leaks so far so good, very happy. This is a very good bidet the quality seems very good and if you're just starting or curious about getting a bidet, I I would think this is the one for you. I've used it a few times it leaves me very clean very little toilet paper use. Just for patting dry that's it. I really do like this bidet and would highly recommend it especially since it is so affordable. All I can say leaving you is try it if you don't like it you could always send it back. I hope this brings you much health and happiness. Sincerely, Charlie Cannibal
