Better than the costlier electric ones

I have/had about 8 bidets, all electric, mostly Totos. We moved and I put them in our new house. The toilet in my office is black. Not finding any black bidets less that $1,000 I decided to go for this one. It's white, but i can keep the black seat. (At some point I will paint it black to match everything else.) There's the added benefit that it doesn't require electricity, which i would have to run an extension cord from the next room, or do extensive electrical work to mount a GFI recept...

I am surprised that it works really good. Better than the costlier electric ones. In comparison to the electric seats that I have in other places in the house.
PROS:
Easy to control, the one simple control is like an old-fashioned radio volume knob, off to the exact pressure you want.
No waiting 5 seconds after you push the button, to get water.
No complicated modes, or secret button pushes to disable unneeded features.
No electrical needed.
Quiet, no random noises when you sit down, or get up.
CONS:
Seat doesn't warm.
Water isn't heated.
Since it's for daytime use, i don't need the water or seat heated. I'm very happy with this. Installation is no harder than the electric ones.

This particular model does not allow the swing motion to work with elongated bowels.

Full stream ahead...to the wrong area.

The installation was a bit confusing, but very doable. Once in place, I found that the jet does not spray, but simply sends out a solid blast, and too far forward. There was no adjusting the angle upward, so I had to shift to the front of the seat to compensate. Sure, there is a lever for that, but it doesn't actually move it more than a millimeter. When I do move myself forward, it is just a solid blast that has me cleaning up the splashing water afterwards.

I had wished that it could be angled up, and perhaps a wider spread instead of the concentrated jet stream. When I pulled this item back up today, I noted that the photographs show two nozzles and an extended length into the bowl. Perhaps that would work, but it certainly is not what I received.
