Faced with inordinately high costs for regular bidets, I was happy to run across this device. Simply replace the existing toilet seat, and connect water. As I live in a southern State, cold water is not unduly uncomfortable. I wish I had known of these devices decades ago, but they likely were not yet invented. Don't hesitate! Clean up your act.

Affordable and comfortable

The side handle is easy to use and you can control the amount of water pressure. In the small bathroom, we had a round toilet (not an elongated one). Because our old house didn't have enough room in the electrical box to put in a dedicated electric outlet for a heated bidet seat, our contractor and designer recommended this particular model. It works great. The water spray seems to be room temperature and is comfortable. Kohler is a reliable brand.

Amazing upgrade. Could not go back.

Easy to install and works like a charm. The rinse is not too cold, even though it's not heated. A must-have upgrade for all of our toilets. Even the kids like it.

This is our second one. A couple of months ago we bought the first one for our master bath and loved it so much that we bought one for the guest bath. Easy to use and refreshing. It uses tap water. Cuts down on the use of toilet paper "big time" and requires no electricity.

Like it a lot

I found the bedet toilet seat to very comfortable. I was concerned about the cold water connection for cleaning your bottom but it is actually quite refreshing. My only request would be that they provide a connection where the connection first comes out of the floor/wall as opposed to where the water enters the toilet fill tank. In my case it would be a cleaner connection. Highly Recommend the product.

Love the new bidet seat

Bought this two weeks ago and my Wife & I love it.
Thought unheated water would be an issue, but ambient luke warm water in pipes is not an issue.
May eventually provide a mixing valve to all service a toilets in an upcoming remodel.
That way all toilets can have a warm water bidet without need of wiring.

Works very well for us. Thought the water was going to be to cold, but its using the water that's been sitting in the pipe, so it's more like room temperature.

[Incentivized Review] Nice alternative to an electric bidet seat

I've been looking for a bidet toilet seat for a long time. I've lived in Italy and every bathroom I saw had a stand alone bidet next to the toilet. Once you get accustomed to using one they're difficult to live without.
Installing a bidet is not an option for me since I don't have the space for one and even if I did the plumbing would be a nightmare. A bidet toilet seat is a logical solution. A heated seat would be nice but the problem is getting an electrical outlet near the toilet. I have no...

Installing a bidet is not an option for me since I don't have the space for one and even if I did the plumbing would be a nightmare. A bidet toilet seat is a logical solution. A heated seat would be nice but the problem is getting an electrical outlet near the toilet. I have no basement or attic access to run the wires and tearing out wallboard was not something I was willing to do. A non-electric, unheated unit was my only option.
The Kohler bidet arrived quickly and was well packed. There were no broken or missing parts. I followed the very simple and well illustrated instructions. My supply line was made from non-bendable PEX and in order to connect it to the "T" shaped adapter I had to replace the line with a stainless steel braided flexible one. The rest of the installation was uneventful and the whole thing took less than half an hour.
I was concerned that the toilet is bone colored and the bidet is white but the difference is barely noticeable. One small problem that I'll have to work around is that the seat wiggles a little in the mounting bracket. There's no adjustment for this so I guess it's just something I'll have to live with.
As far as the function goes it works flawlessly. With just a twist of the control arm the variable water pressure extends and retracts the spray nozzle, one of three include. Since there's no heating element the cost of operation is zero. I also like the "push button removal feature" that allows for complete cleaning of the bowl rim. It's summer now and the ambient water temperature is comfortable, we'll see what it's like next winter.

I like how the bidet part works, but I do not like how the seat itself performs. The seat cover cannot lean back onto the tank, something prevents it from doing that. It means that slightest bump makes it close, even when you sit on it. It is actually my second Puretide bidet seat. The first one had the same problem with the cover and eventually, after a year, it stopped being able to stand upright at all. I guess, the plastic catch got worn out. But it still would not lean back on the tank.

I used another brand T-connector instead of included one, because I wanted to be able to switch off the water supply to the bidet without switching off the water to the tank.
As for bidet, it is excellent. I like that I can easily adjust the power and where the spray goes. I was afraid I would not like cold water, but it turned out to be ok, even in dead of the winter. The ease of operation and bidet performance was what made me to replace the old one with the same model. I hope it will last longer.
