This is a great bidet toilet seat if you don't want (1) an add on that sits underneath your existing toilet seat, or (2) a bidet seat that requires electricity. We opted for this one because it looks streamlined and the button function is very simple - forward turn for the front, backwards for the backside. The spray has 2 positions which for our house are sufficient, but I can see how adjustable ones might be nice for some people. Installation was a bit of a pain simply because the hoses did not match up with our plumbing. It was a bit challenging to find the right attachment but we did on Amazon. Once that was sorted out, it was simple. I can see how a seat with electricity that provides a drying function would be the next step, but for now, it's great.

Bought this as an upgrade to my $30 one that went between my existing seat and the toilet. I was disappointed with this one. The jets shoot too far forward and there's no way to adjust this. But my main issue is the water pressure is so much lower than my old one. I had to rip the flow restrictions out of the inlet on the seat. Flow is now comparable to the cheap one, I just have to shift my body forward to get the right spot. The good, is that the nozzles are self cleaning and they get tucked away behind a little door when not in use, which protects them from coming in contact with undesirable material.

I've always wanted to try a bidet, but I always wondered how it stayed clean after use. This is a basic seat that doesn't require electricity. It is a great starter seat and now that I've had the experience, I will upgrade in the future to one with more features. Installing went well with just one hang up trying to get the screw in the hole with the plastic thing that flexes. Once we got it in, the seat does not move and is actually easier to clean than our old one. I was concerned about the size as the hole looks smaller but it works well and sitting is very comfortable. Even without the bidet hookup, this is a great seat. So for the bidet part, this just connects to the existing water line with a T-valve, but the one that was included didn't fit my connection so I did have to buy a different one to make this work. When the sprayer isn't being used there is a flap covering it for protection, but even without that, the flap hasn't gotten anything on it. That was my main concern and I am happy that it stays clean after using it. There is a knob on the side of the seat and it can be turned forward or backward with adjusting angle and intensity. I like getting extra clean and using less toilet paper, so this is a great way to try a bidet.
