I recently installed my American standard advanced clean 3.0 SpaLet, bidet toilet seat and I couldn’t be happier with it! It is both practical and luxe. Installation was quick and easy for something that does so much. Everything is noticeably well made. All the controls work smoothly and efficiently, I have no concerns with wearing with use. This seat has several options but not enough to overwhelm. It cleans without making a mess (other bidets I’ve tried can be a little messy with the spray). There are also options for pre-mist to cleanse the bowl and an air shield deodorizer which is exactly what it sounds like and is an unexpectedly amazing feature! The seat heat temp is also controlled and a necessity in cold climate areas but also provides a therapeutic component. The seat itself is incredibly comfortable and has enough give and support. The lid is a slow closing lid which is a must in our house. Added benefits include an ecofriendly option with it’s one touch power save mode. This is on top of the fact that bidets are environmentally friendly as it cuts down on toilet paper waste. The remote is user friendly and very intuitive. I did not have to read the manual to understand how to use it so guests will have no trouble with it as well. Each user can customize temp and type of spray. There’s also a warm air dry option which I’ve never seen on any other SpaLet/bidet. Finally, the design is sleek and unobtrusive. Other bidet seats can seem bulky but not this one. For those who have not used a bidet before, this will be a treat. For those who have, this is an absolute upgrade. Minus the need for electrical power at the toilet area. Review. Like the style and ease of installation of toilet seat. Also like the ideal of the way it flushes it truly makes its main purpose of cleaning more pleasurable do to less mess. Over all nothing was missing in what it offers. Just a lot of activity available for use if desired. Note -personally I did not like the need for A/C power outlet in my bathroom. Behind or near the toilet period. Ground fault or not. Just felt the electrical power requirement was a bit out liking. Now maybe if I was build a house from scratch , I would not have a issue placing a outlet by design for this product. Heated toilet seat etc. not needed in my humble opinion to get results needed. Small bathroom designs like mine is not necessarily ideal for this size seat. Stands out for sure. For the operations of this , I have to say the remote is to big and not sensible for mounting in size for again smaller bathroom designs. Large type would be just fine ,I would think they would have more space available for this large remote and mount. Over all not what I would buy if at the store for my modest size house. For starters, the water connection happens at the bottom of the tank and includes a rather large, beautifully made fitting that screws onto the water inlet for the tank. Because the fitting is so large, you can't just remove the tank and attach it, slide the fitting through the access hole in the toilet and then re-install the tank. it won'... Read More

For starters, the water connection happens at the bottom of the tank and includes a rather large, beautifully made fitting that screws onto the water inlet for the tank. Because the fitting is so large, you can't just remove the tank and attach it, slide the fitting through the access hole in the toilet and then re-install the tank. it won't fit. For toilets with straight sides, that means you have to un-install the entire toilet, turn it around to install the fitting and hoses and then re-install the entire, assembled toilet. what could have been a 10 minute job turns into a job requiring a couple of hours. that complaint aside, once this unit is installed, it works well. glad we purchased it  Read Less
