LAUNDRY DAY JUST GOT BETTER!!!
Nothing worse than taking a big ol' gooey dump then having to smear it around with that gawdawful T-paper. Before you know it, the "whitey-tighties" aren't so whitey anymore. And DON'T EVEN get me started on the T-paper! Use too much and you clog the toilet- not enough and you finger poke through to the worse place imaginable! Our previous seat needed to be replaced. In the process of shopping around here on Amazon, I discovered this- thought to myself "is that really a thing... LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! I've never had a power wash up the backside before, but MAN! Is that exhilarating! Now we're both hooked! VERY easy to install. If I can install this in 20 minutes or less, ANYBODY can! I've noticed that some people have complained about it leaking. I'm certainly no Bob Villa, but I did have the advantage of growing up watching my dad fix stuff around the house. NOTE: the instructions (for whatever they're worth) make NO mention of using anything like teflon tape or pipe dope. Pipe dope might be a bit overkill, but CERTAINLY use teflon tape on all "metal-to-metal" connections (DO NOT use teflon tape on plastic parts). Yes, this does have the feel of a lightweight plastic toilet seat like one would find in an RV. But it is surprisingly comfortable and durable. A couple of "downsides": the braided supply line that comes with this is WAY longer than it needs to be- even half the length would be plenty long enough. Also, the seat is white....very... very...white. Not a soft "decorative" white like the rest of my toilet; more of a very harsh "medical equipment" type shade of white. As "clunky" as that may look, it is definitely NOT a deal breaker for me. All in all, my wife and both LOVE this thing! No more "cling-ons" or "butt crumbs". And NO MORE SKID MARKS!! For those of us who like to go "commando" now and then- THIS!!!! UPDATE (a couple years later): I had reason to separate the seat from the toilet for “cleaning and maintenance”. So THATS why the supply line is as long as it is….

First time bidet users/owners due to low TP supply with covid craze. Glad we bought two of these. My wife praises the purchase and install. Low TP usage now just for drying off and much cleaner than TP by itself. Did a lot of internet research on reviews etc and chose this one. Don't see the need for the electric versions after using this one. So far so good after a few months. Only suggestion is to make the "off" click detent a little more definite on the valve handle. Otherwise easy to install with simple tools and works well with no leaks. Going full pressure on the control valve can give the user and enema, so go easy on the valve to see what works for you. Highly recommend.
