Great First Bidet

I bought two white Brondell toilet seat elongated bidet for my 2 bathrooms in my house 3 or 4 years ago from Lowes due to my youngest child's dislike of toilet paper. I bought two white Brondell toilet seat elongated bidet for my 2 bathrooms in my house 3 or 4 years ago from Lowes due to my youngest child's dislike of toilet paper. Since then, this week the t valve leaked water (stripped out due to two house moves this last year) so I bought a brondell easy spa bidet attachment which has the t valve part my father in law plunber needed to fix the leaking valve. If I hadn't move twice, I am sure that t valve would have been working fine probably. You can buy that part online at https://www.brondell.com/bidets/bidet-parts-accessories/ cheaper and have the replacement t valve shipped to your house. I was in a hurry plus now I got a backup bidet attachment just in case. My father in law likes the high quality metal parts, hoses, and easy setup. I like the child friendly water spray knob which won me over versus the hand held bidet which my children would use as a water gun in the bathroom (big mess). I highly recommend this affordable seat bidet to all families especially parents who got potty trained children who don't use enough toilet paper. Buying this bidet has been a great first experience and it would be hard to go back to no bidet life. It definitely changed our family for better!

Internal Leak in unit is less than 2 years; constantly loosening seat

The unit did a good job of cleaning for the time it was working. However, three issues to note: 1. During installation and for several months afterward, I had to constantly tighten the cold and hot water lines onto the plastic shafts on the bidet. I had to be careful not to overtighten so as not to break the plastic input shafts or something inside the bidet. Metal shafts would be better, and a lock nut on the shaft so the water hose could be tightened without twisting/damaging the internal part...
Metal shafts would be better, and a lock nut on the shaft so the water hose could be tightened without twisting/damaging the internal parts of the bidet. 2. Constantly during the time the seat was in use, I had to re-tighten the plastic bolts holding the bidet mounting bracket to the toilet. Again, always there was a fear of tightening the bolts too much and breaking them. Even after tightening them, they tend to loosen overtime. probably every two months, I would re-tighten the mounting bracket. 3. The unit (just yesterday) developed a leak inside the bidet, after less than 2 years of use. I found clean water on the bathroom floor and traced it (not to the inlet lines, but) to under the bidet itself. When removing the bidet with the water lines still hooked, I saw water running out from under the bidet. After removing the bidet, and unscrewing the bottom 6 screens, I found the internal portion wet, but could not find the failed connection or a leaking hose. Disappointed with the bidet.
