Seat hose is junk, leaks at the elbow connection
Pros: 1. It fits my elongated Kohler toilet perfectly 2. The bidet is incorporated into the seat, which makes it look quite sleek. 3. There are 2 nozzles (one for front, and one for bottom). The water pressure is average, but gets the job done. Cons: 1. The included seat hose is junk. It leaks at the swivel elbow connection. No matter how much I tightened the fitting, that rubber gasket would not seal. I had to go to Home Depot and buy a straight 1/2" supply line which worked wonderfully....

Be careful when you connect the metal T-piece to the toilet fill valve. Make sure you align them well and not force it as the toilet fill valve is made of plastic and the threads can be easily damaged. C'mon Kohler, metal fittings on plastic threads don't mix. 3. Not sure why there needs to be a sticker on the lid with instructions on how to use the bidet. It's not one of those peel off decal and was not easy to remove.
Works Well Once Installed
Purchased in December 2022, we went with this model primarily because it was manual (no electrical connection required) and its promised compatibility with the Kohler Reach toilet. Purchased in December 2022, we went with this model primarily because it was manual (no electrical connection required) and its promised compatibility with the Kohler Reach toilet. Once installed, it looks good, and works well. Installation could be made easier with a couple of changes. The connection to the underside of the toilet tank was fussy because the metal T-valve (included) attaches to the plastic threads of the water inlet, making cross-threading likely. I got it connected it only after several failed (leaky) attempts. Plastic-on-plastic or metal-on-metal connections are preferred. The supply hose connects to the bottom of the T-valve where there is no space between the toilet and the supply hose connection, due to the shape of the Reach toilet and length of the T-valve. I originally tried to use a supply hose having a larger plastic connecting nut (a common configuration), but a hose with a smaller metal connector is the ONLY way the installation works. Finally, the provided seat hose has a metal nut that connects to plastic threads on the seat --another opportunity for cross-threading. Though not nearly as fussy as the T-valve-to-tank connection, this connector is important because recommended maintenance requires removal of this hose to access the filter screen. The seat design includes features specific to cleaning and servicing, but those too I would describe as fussy. While not super comfortable, once installed, this seat looks good and performs well. We would rate it as Good if the T-valve interference issue was addressed (e.g., by providing a different type of T-valve more compatible with the Reach toilet).
Great bidet, make sure you have everything you need beforehand!
Overall, loving my bidet. Pretty comfy seat, love the soft close lid, awesome that it’s removable for cleaning, and most importantly cleans your nether regions great! As a woman, the feminine wash is especially fantastic during that time of the month! Installation was overall easy. The seat comes with all the attachments needed, you just need a screwdriver and wrench. Didn’t have a wrench, but it worked with hand tightening just fine. I had some user error where I experienced leaks, but that was because I didn’t screw things on perfectly straight. So, make sure to double check and screw everything on perfect and you’re good to go! Also, I noticed the instructions didn’t tell users to turn off the water supply and empty the tank beforehand. I knew to do that before unscrewing stuff, but people who know nothing about plumbing might find themselves being sprayed with water and flooding their bathroom:/ Finally, wanted to note that the seat is a tad large for my toilet and if I tried to install it perfectly center, the lid doesn’t have room to stay up when opened. I have an American Standard elongated toilet. Ended up having to adjust the position a little extra forward where the seat hangs slightly over the edge of the bowl, but doesn’t bother me and doesn’t affect function. Check measurements before buying! Other than those small details, highly recommend this toilet seat!
