Heater discoloured the seat
This was purchased in February of 2022 and the seat has turned yellow. In looking up reviews of these seats they had a problem with turning yellow in the past with sunlight. I had an older model Toto (which was thicker plastic as well) in this same spot for several years and had no issue with discolouration. They have obviously gone back to using cheap plastic like they did years ago.

Way better than a Brondell
I purchased a Brondell Swash 1000 in Sept 2022, it works as my first bidet entry model, but the unit started to behave strangely, it refuses to operate when it fails to detect the user. I ended up return the unit in April and bought this TOTO bidet. Installation is very straightforward, TOTO also included a small plastic lid cushion for contact between the lid and the toilet tank, it's a small thing, but I do appreciate TOTO's attention to details....
I purchased a Brondell Swash 1000 in Sept 2022, it works as my first bidet entry model, but the unit started to behave strangely, it refuses to operate when it fails to detect the user. I ended up return the unit in April and bought this TOTO bidet. Installation is very straightforward, TOTO also included a small plastic lid cushion for contact between the lid and the toilet tank, it's a small thing, but I do appreciate TOTO's attention to details. Bidet is very easy to use, the sensors work waaaaaay better than my previous Brondell Swash 1000. It's also more intuitive. The dryer is more powerful and does not time-out easily. You can also save different user settings. Having used it for more than 4 months, this unit hasn't yet misbehave once. I highly recommend this bidet unit.

Other than the oversensitive motion sensor, this is a great Washlet.
Love it. Still, I wish that two things were different. You can’t adjust the e-spray timing. It sprays the tiny bit of ionized water into the bowl every time I go near it, which is unnecessary and a little annoying. There is no “manual” option. It’s either going to spray every time it senses motion or not at all. If you have a small bathroom it will go off a lot while you are getting ready in the morning. At least it has a 90 second delay before it resets. Seco...

I have to set it to to person one each time use it which is just an annoyance bu It would be an easy option for Toto to make. Despite these two minor things I love the e-water function, as it makes for less frequent cleaning, and the night light is cute. The remote is also quite modern looking compared to their old ones, which is nice. If not for the two minor things I would have given it a straight 5/5.
