[Incentivized Review] A total bathroom game changer, for the win!
I am a big fan of bidets, having used them when abroad, so I was pretty excited to use the Neo 185 Cold Water Bidet Attachment with Self Cleaning Dual Nozzles. I am a big fan of bidets, having used them when abroad, so I was pretty excited to use the Neo 185 Cold Water Bidet Attachment with Self Cleaning Dual Nozzles. And having used it for a month, I’m happy to report that it’s spoiled me completely! Installation is a breeze...it took me 20 minutes from cutting the water and disassembling my toilet seat, to turning it back on and testing it out. Obviously this is totally dependent on how your toilet is set up, and how difficult it is to remove and replace the bolts on your toilet lid, and how easily you can reorient the hoses. Fortunately the Neo 185 has included a few plastic wrenches, and the hose has a preinstalled nut tightener to make the process simpler. Truly this tells me that the makers of the Neo 185 care about their users, and are committed to saving us whatever headache they can (because nothing is as frustrating as starting a project only to find you don’t have the proper tools to finish.). Kudos to the Neo 185 for going the extra mile! As far as the function, it does a pretty great job. As it uses your water supply, the water is cold, which is very refreshing in the summer, but can be quite a shock in the winter if you’re not prepared. Too, depending on your water pressure, be prepared to gently and carefully turn up the power. I turn it on less than a quarter turn, as the pressure coming out of the wall is extremely powerful. I can’t imagine using the full strength of the unit as it would cause more than a little pain. Half the dial is dedicated to the rear-end of all users, and the other meant for the female form. This is where the dual nozzles show their purpose, as they spray at a different angles to hit a range of areas. Too, you can move your body on the seat if the water isn’t hitting the bullseye. There is a setting for self cleaning, and it does a valiant job of it. Also the nozzles are hidden behind a shield of sorts, so it is easy to keep everything clean on the outside as well (as well as protecting the dual nozzles). The bidet is well made, the fittings tight, and the hose has plenty of length. And because it’s pretty simple in design I anticipate it lasting for a very long time. Another great thing about the Neo 185 is that it will save you money, as you will use a fraction of the toilet paper you once did (and is a prefect solution for any new toilet paper shortage). Obviously I’m a fan of bidets, and the Neo 185 brings what I love about them to any toilet with no construction. It’s a device a will always have, because once you get used to using one, no toilet without will ever measure up. Definitely recommend!
[Incentivized Review] Where has this been all my life
I received the Neo 185 - Cold Water, Non-Electric, Mechanical Bidet Attachment with Self-cleaning Dual Nozzles with the dial control in blue. This kit comes with everything you need (minus a flat head) to install. The directions are clear, concise and I appreciate the pictures. I actually looked up a video on installation as well before I got started. The whole installation took me about 20 minutes to do by myself. This kit comes with everything you need (minus a flat head) to install. The directions are clear, concise and I appreciate the pictures. I actually looked up a video on installation as well before I got started. The whole installation took me about 20 minutes to do by myself. I have never used a bidet before, only heard about them so I was curious what all the hype was about. Let me tell you, I wish I had installed one sooner! It’s cleans extremely well and with the cold water, it actually feels refreshing. There are three settings; woman, wash and nozzle cleaning. There is also a dial where you can control the pressure. I would advise to make sure to start off turning the dial slowly to get the right pressure, otherwise you might be in for a surprise. I also like how this bidet has a hygienic nozzle guard gate, that way they only come down when they’re in use and retract back in when not. The self-cleaning sanitary nozzle is nice because it streams fresh water directly over the nozzle for rinsing before or after use. Overall, I think this is an excellent product, especially for being non-electric. It’s easy to install and operate while ensuring an effective clean. The only time you will need toilet paper is to dry off so you can cut back on usage dramatically. I would definitely recommend the Neo 185 !
[Incentivized Review] The best for the price
After looking at many other bidets that cost hundreds and some even thousands of dollars, I ran into this one, so I decided to give it a try. Pros: 1. It doesn't require any electricity, which means no need to run wires and it works even when the power is out. 2. Installation was pretty straight forward. Can install on most toilets, no need to buy a new toilet. 3. Even though it has no heating, the water doesn't feel freezing cold, it mostly just feels like room temperature. 4. Dual functio...
4. Dual function: both for cleaning the rear and the period area. 5. Sanitary operation: the nozzle retracts into its own little compartment when not in use, so that it stays clean and sanitary and there's also a nozzle cleaning mode to help flushing out calcium deposits. 6. Water pressure control. At first, the water pressure was way too high and I thought well, I can't use this at all, but later on, when I picked up all the packaging to be discarded, I found a very important extra piece that replaces the regular plastic adapter that also comes in the kit. After installing the water pressure valve, I was able to adjust the water pressure low enough, then I can just control it with the pressure knob. 7. It uses clean water from the water source, not from the toilet tank, as I was worried it might when ordering it, so you get the same water you'd have when you use a faucet or a shower, not toilet water in any way. Cons: 1. It would be nice to have a dryer that dries you off after washing, but that would require running electric wires, so probably better that it doesn't. 2. It would also be nice o have a small compartment where you add a bit of body wash that it would mix in with warm water to wash the front and the period area, but again here too, that would complicate things and cause the product to be more expensive. Overall, everyone that had the chance to try it, loved it and said they wanted one installed on their toilet too. It does the job, giving a fresher cleaner feeling after using the bathroom, with very little effort to install and for a minimal price.
[Incentivized Review] Fast install, user friendly
The Neo Luxe 185 installed in under less than 10 minutes and most of that time was unscrewing then reattaching the toilet seat. The Neo Luxe 185 installed in under less than 10 minutes and most of that time was unscrewing then reattaching the toilet seat. The portion that fits underneath the seat is adjustable so it will work with any shape toilet and any size screw gap. It was so incredibly easy to install and the instruction were clear and easy to follow. I was originally concerned about it being a cold water bidet but didn’t want to run hot water lines. The cold water spray but I can honestly isn’t as cold as you’d expect and I was quickly spoiled after the first few uses. The front knob adjusts water pressure, the second knob allows you to switch from regular wash, nozzle cleaning, or the women’s setting which is a softer long jet that sprays farther up. The two knob controls are easy to use, allow for easy control of the pressure and length of spray. While the bidet is really simple and pretty basic it’s been a huge upgrade to our bathroom comfort wise. Great investment.
