The UX Pearl Electric Bidet Elongated Seat from Alpha Bidet is quite the nice addition to my bathroom. The installation of this bidet to the toilet is actually super easy. It's as simple as taking off the old seat, installing the installation bracket which attaches to the toilet seat mounting holes in the toilet, and then sliding on the bidet seat until it clicks into place. The installation of the T-Valve is also pretty simple. Drain the toilet tank, turn off the water valve at the wall, unscrew the water line from the tank and add the T-Valve in-between the tank and the water line from the wall. The water line from the bidet then installs to the remaining outlet on the T-Valve. The hardest part of the whole thing for me was installing an electrical outlet near the toilet because I didn't have one there previously. Luckily I'm pretty handy when it comes to electrical work and was able to cut out and install a box in the side of my bathroom vanity. The bidet has a pressure sensor in it and it will not work unless you're sitting on the seat. I put some pressure on the sensor with my hand so I could test some of the functions and see them work at the same time. There is a control knob on the side of the bidet, but you really have to have the remote in working order for the system to fully function. There's a front and back setting for the sprayer, as well as a seat heater, water heater, and dryer function. The washing wand extends out of the seat when it's time to use it and it self cleans inside the unit before and after each use. You'll see some water dribbling out of the bottom of the seat when it's cleaning itself. It also has a bowl cleaning feature where it uses charged air particles to santize the bowl. There are presets that you can use if you have particular settings you like and there's a built-in deodorizer. There's also a nightlight feature if you want to keep a bowl light on. You actually get a whole lot of functionality with this unit and I definitely plan to buy at least one more.  Read Less

Fantastic! The new bidet seat from Alpha Bidet is really, really fantastic. I replaced the JX-EW, which has not had a single issue for the last four years, with their newest seat, the updated UX Pearl. Fantastic! The new bidet seat from Alpha Bidet is really, really fantastic. I replaced the JX-EW, which has not had a single issue for the last four years, with their newest seat, the updated UX Pearl. I didn’t think a bidet seat could get any better than what Alpha Bidet made, but they have outdone themselves once again with updates and very thoughtful new features. The UX Pearl is really clean and sleek. It doesn’t look clunky or weird. The spray force, position, temperature, and oscillation is all adjustable. The power-saving nightlight is a carryover feature that we all really like, as is the option to keep the seat the same temperature at all times, or to warm it when a person sits down. We use both eco-friendly features on the former model, too. It costs nearly nothing per year to have a heated seat and warm water to wash my underside. I love having an Alpha Bidet. If you or a loved one has difficulty keeping their “area” clean, or has limited mobility, or just hates the cold toilet seat in the winter, this is a must-have. I won’t build or remodel another home without an outlet next to the toilet just for my Alpha Bidet.  Read Less

I have another, simpler bidet at home and while it has the same functions I must say This model is worth the money. Installation is no more difficult than with any other toilet seat really and it fits well on any existing toilet. Cheaper seats can be a little wobbly and shift positions underneath you, this one stays firmly in place which is another plus. The setup is quite intuitive and straightforward. Cheaper seats can be a little wobbly and shift positions underneath you, this one stays firmly in place which is another plus. The setup is quite intuitive and straightforward. Had no issue programming the bidet to the desired settings. The lid is soft close so it won’t bang on the seat when you shut it. The positions and sprays can be set to a wide range of positions, temperatures and strengths. They do feel much more comfortable than I have experienced with cheaper models. The light is a feature I don’t really need but it works perfectly well. Important: cleaning of the nozzle is also simple which helps keeping the whole thing nice and sanitary.  Read Less
