Verdict

The AquaWash® 2.0 Electric SpaLet® Bidet Seat delivers solid cleansing performance with its dual self-cleaning nozzles, effective warm water system, and intuitive manual controls. Users appreciate the smooth, adjustable water pressure and easy front/rear spray switching, though the maximum pressure may feel less powerful than expected. Comfort features like the heated, slow-closing seat and night light enhance usability, despite lacking advanced functions such as an air dryer or deodorizer. Installation is straightforward, though the power cord length may limit outlet placement. Overall, the AquaWash 2.0 offers reliable hygiene and comfort with well-rounded features suitable for everyday use, particularly for those who prioritize simplicity and dependable warm water cleaning.

The seat was incredibly easy to install, I replaced the old one in about 30 minutes. All of the required hardware is included, all you need is a screwdriver and (maybe) an adjustable wrench (don’t overtighten). It is important to note that you do need to have an electrical outlet nearby. I installed a new one a few weeks ago knowing that I was getting this. The seat itself is comfortable, but you do lose some sitting room and the opening is smaller compared to the regular toilet seat it replaced, because the back part of the seat that houses the electronics and such take up some of the space. It is also simple to use, there are two buttons on left that toggle through low, medium and off settings for the heated seat temperature and water temperature. The dial on the right controls the water flow and ‘aim’ (forwards for front, back for rear and center for ‘off’). The flow isn’t overpowering, but enough to get you clean, and the water warms almost instantly. The sprayer itself is contained when not it use and has a self cleaning system, while the exterior doesn’t appear to be any more difficult to clean than any other seat. It also has a light that automatically illuminates for nighttime visits. My only complaint would be that the cord could be a little longer. I was able to reach mine on the opposite side, but an extra foot or two would’ve been nice so I could tuck it away better. In summary, it may seem a little expensive at first, but when you consider what you pay for a night or two at a fancy hotel compared to something like this that will last you for years of use, I think it is totally worth it. It will also save you money on toilet paper (although you’ll still need some to dry off) and have less impact on your pipes and the environment. It will get you cleaner and the seat heater and warm water are an added comfort. Go ahead and get one…your posterior will thank you later.

This is the second bidet that I own, and I have to say that, right from the get go, I am not impressed with the AquaWash 2.0 SpaLet. Most of my problems were in the installation, but I do have two other issues that are bringing the rating of this bidet down to a solid 3.0. First, installation: The seat uses a base plate with two sliding plates for each hole on the toilet. This is just how my other bidet attaches as well, as the electronics and water works for the bidet sit directly above the bolts. I don't think I've ever had so much difficulty getting a seat lined up properly. The sliding plates slide around, the base plate slides around and all in all it was rather tiring and took about 20 minutes just to get this thing situated in the right spot. However, the real issues started with the hose and the attachments. The included hose is stiff as a brick and the compression connectors at either end might as well be coated in oil. I don't know why AquaWash couldn't use thumbscrews like every other connection to a toilet. The instructions do not say if you should use a wrench, but I was forced to as there was simply no way to tighten the connectors. Once I had them on there, I realized I had made a mistake... both of the connectors had cross-threaded and were sitting crooked. I took them off, and realized just how cheaply made this product is: the hose connections on the T adapter and the bidet itself are plastic, and because of the cross-threading, where now damaged. Shaking my head, I re-connected the hoses very slowly, using as little torque with the wrench as possible and pulling very hard on the hose to get it align straight. I was successful in threading the second time, but this issue would not have arisen if the hose was more limber or the connectors were a higher quality plastic. Second, Use: I discovered that the electrical cord for the bidet was 1" too short to reach the outlet... forcing me to run it up and over the toilet instead of down and under and out of the way. It looks terrible. The other issue I have, and this very well maybe the end of this bidet: it emits a very high pitched beep when in use that continues to ring until it's turned back off. It is very irritating, but only comes on sometimes. Occasionally it just beeps a single chime and that's it. Last, in closing: I am so far not impressed with this bidet. I will use it for a short while, as it does appear to give decent pressure and leaves you "feeling fresh". However, I'm not sure its worth the eye sore of the dangling power cord, or the headache of the beeping. It does have pressure control for the water, seat heat and water heat.

I installed this in our master bathroom and we have used it for about a month now. Since my wife often uses flushable wipes, I got this in hopes of eliminating (or at least significantly decreasing) such usage since they can cause plumbing issues (i.e. clogs!). This was super easy to install...took less than 20 minutes. It comes with a cord that when plugged in heats the seat and the water, but you can also use it without plugging it in which is what we've been doing since we don't necessarily care about a heated seat and/or water. It has two directions of spray (a slightly forward direction and a rear [no pun intended!] direction). You simply use the dial/switch on the side to turn on the spray (move it forward for the front area and move it backward for the rear). It also has two flow settings (min, max) for each direction...so you can choose to spray a little or a lot depending on the situation. We absolutely LOVE this product!!! I wasn't sure how much I would actually use it when I got it but I think I use it more than my wife at this point! Lol It's just so easy and convenient to use. It's also self cleaning btw so now worries there, and the lids are self closing so no more accidentally "dropping" the toilet seat! I would definitely encourage people to check this product out. It's high quality and works flawlessly...and it will definitely eliminate or at least save on the use of flushable wipes!!! :) Totally worth it. Thinking about actually getting one for my parents since we love it so much.

Easy Install

I already had an American Standard toilet so when I saw they made a seat specific to their product I decided to try it instead of Bio Bidet. Although it took a month to arrive (Corona set production back), it finally arrived and I looked at a you tube video for installation tips. I'm a 70 year old lady who lives alone and didn't want to pay a plumber. Lucky for me, I didn't need to. Instructions along with the video proved to be all I needed. Everything hooked up, with no leaks and the plate lined up well and I am proud of myself for the accomplishment. The only thing that I didn't know was that the plug is on the right side if you're facing the toilet and my outlet is on the left side, so I'll have another outlet installed. meanwhile I had to carry it over the back of the toilet to plug it in. I love the night light, the warm water and the various water pressure controls. I think I'm going to enjoy it so much that I won't ever be without one. Love it!
